I had been dead for dunnoe how many months liao, mayb 1 year? Aiyah, i dun care, now that I had read all my previous blog posts, i regret not cherishing my lower sec life.. It seemed so fun while it all lasted because we are all changing classes soon. The countdown had begun,and yes, we have only 4 official days( Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? ) left as an official 205 class. =( Oh well, I shaldnt be emo here, I had chosen my subject combination and I bet that the chances of the whole class getting into the same class again is 0.00000001%. Sure enough, I had chosen something that nobody or very little people will choose. Anyways, here is a little something for e girls out there, I am writing my dedications to you. I shadnt write for the boys since none of them read blogs >_<

1) Kai Qing : Hellos, you are like a mother to Jem lah :P Hope that you will do well in your sec 3 + o levels ++ everything else :D anws, i bet that u wont reazd this :P

An account on natural disasters in China.

The Ming Dynasty collapsed in the 17th century after famines caused by freak weather and flooding. The Ming itself came to power after a peasant rebellion following massive floods caused by the Yellow River bursting its banks.

Further back in time, during the last year of Emperor Qin Shihuang's rule in 210BC, there was a severe drought. The first ruler of unified China died that same year and his dynasty crumbled quickly thereafter.

But there remains the superstitious thinking among Chinese that a chain of freak disasters is the gods' sign that it is time for the next ruler. This link between the Mandate of Heaven and natural disaster has continued to even modern-day socialist China.

1 What does Source A tell you about natural disasters in China?

Natural Disasters are the cause of the fall of dynasties. The Chinese are superstitious,

and they thought that when many natural disasters occur one after another, it would meant

that it is gods’ will that it is time to change a ruler. They would think that gods’ sign was the

mandate of heaven and once the gods’ want an emperor to change, the Mandate of heaven

will be taken away from the emperor and natural disasters that would cause wide spread

sufferings would occur one after the another.

I agree, despite his harsh punishments, Chandragupta is also known to have improved

the welfare of his people. He built roads, including the Great Royal Highway for easy

travel. The highway connected Pataliputra to the northwestern border areas of

Chandragupta’s empire. Farmers were able to grow their crops more easily when

Chandragupta ordered irrigation systems be maintained to ensure a steady supply of

water to the fields.

Explain the contributions of Parameswara in the development of the Melaka Sultanate.

Parameswara realized that Melaka had the potential to be a great trading port. It had a

safe harbor and was located along the Straits of Melaka, which was part of the trade

between China and India. Then, Parameswara formed a friendship with the Chinese

emperor to ensure protection from enemy attacks since China was very powerful then.

He also appointed syahbandars to look after the needs of foreign traders who stopped

at the port of Melaka. Later, Parameswara married a Muslim princess from Pasai and

converted to Islam. By doing so, Parameswara won the support of rich Indian-Muslim

and Arab traders. These traders shift their trading head quarters from north Sumatra to

Melaka.

Lol ok I very bz this few days so no time to post my blog sorry :D
Just wanted to update on the Sentosa trip that I had went with 6B :)...
We spent like $$3.00 for the ticket and it's quite worth it lah, cause we went to the palawang(i dunnoe how to spell) beach to play as a whole class... 12 ppl go in total so isit still considered as a class outing? nvm but it is still quite fun. we just go there walk walk :p and then play with the sand and water... I even carve my name with saung and kat's on the sand also...

yesterday I went to JP with Vivian to watch night at the Museum 2 :D We went there and meet at the MRT and my mum decided to tag along too, to bring us to GV.
